You can find a precompiled universal app bundle, including Qt5 runtime libraries, at the project download area. If you prefer to install from sources, CMake or Qmakecan be used to build the application bundle linked to the installed system libraries. You can use Qt5 either from qt.io or packages from Homebrew.

VST MIDI Driver supports Windows XP/Vista/7+, but on the Windows XP it is better to use the official Yamaha S-YXG50 WDM driver, which you can download from the Microsoft Windows Update servers: 4MB version (better quality, consumes more RAM), 2MB version (worse quality, consumes less RAM). This WDM driver can be installed manually using Add Hardware master in the Control Panel. Don't forget to set Yamaha S-YXG50 as the default system MIDI synth in the Sound settings. VSTi version of this synth is not needed when Yamaha S-YXG50 WDM is used.

Hello friend's, as you have probably already noticed, there is no longer a functioning VST midi driver for the WIN 10 versions> 2004.Fortunately, in Mr. Herman Seib I found a programmer who modified the driver so that it can run under the newer Win10 versions 21h1 and higher as well as WIN11. He has made this driver available under the following link: -alpha3 He is currently considering further improvements which he can simply go to stores more releases. Please do not be alarmed, this driver is initially rejected during installation because it could cause damage and must then be released via the usual routine of trusting the software. My request to you is that you send the developer a small donation after downloading and trying it out so that he can continue to support us if the driver no longer works again due to another WIN security update. The two possible donation addresses in PayPal.com are - him@hermannseib.com or office@hermannseib.comI myself made a somewhat larger donation to Mr. Seib because I was not satisfied with the alternative solutions such as LoopMidi in connection with the Midiplayer60 or foobar2000 with the SYXG50 driver and VirtualMidiSynth. This donation certainly did not cover the costs that would have been paid for an official order. therefore I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Hermann Seib once again.

The vstdriver uses BASS DLL to output sound. It causes issues when a midi player itself uses another version of the BASS DLL. If the author of the fork is going to develop the driver further, he could try to replace BASS to an own built-in WASAPI renderer, to avoid any issues and improve compatibility with various players.

On this page (see drivers) you can download 4 different software packages for the SW1000XG PCI-card. Please try all of them, because they are all a little bit different. There's no software for Windows 7 (64 bit) but it must be possible to install the SW1000XG with Windows 7 (32-bit).

Chop up and mix 2 gigs of samples ranging from deep ambient synth pad loops to vintage drum one shots. These are all designed to inspire your music production and provide professional sounding samples that will shine in your mix. Touch Loops perfectly captures the tone and intensity of each sample, so they enhance and complement any song, wherever you use them. This incredible value can be found in your M-Audio account, ready to be downloaded and chopped to your liking!

The 0 or 1 suffix on the download button indicates the type of the MIDI file: Type 0 or Type 1. Some Disklavier, for example, can only play one or the other type. You should experiment first to see which type is compatible with your hardware.

Some antiviruses are reporting CoolSoft VirtualMIDISynth (and also CoolSoft MIDIMapper) as infected. These are false positives, maybe due to the fact that both softwares install some components in "sensitive" system folders like C:\Windows\System32.To be crystal clear with my users, I always publish a VirusTotal scan report link next to each download, even if it contains those false positives. There's no way for me to demonstrate I'm right; submitting my files to each AV vendor is simply unfeasible (see here for further details).

NOTE: you must register to be able to download forum attachments.BEWARE: beta versions are only for the braves! Feel free to experience issues and help in testing their fixes ;)

You have to download the USB MIDI drivers and then you can connect the P-45 to a computer to control software synthesizers and/or record and play back MIDI data. If you want to control other hardware using MIDI, you will have to connect that hardware to the same computer.

Download and install the latest drivers available for your sound card. You should be able to download the latest drivers from the card manufacturer's website, usually in either the "Support" or "Downloads" section.

You will likely need to re-install your sound card drivers. If you are not sure exactly how to do this, you will need to contact the sound card manufacturer. Drivers can normally be downloaded from the manufacturer's website.

In order for this import/export feature to work, you must have the appropriate CODEC installed in the ACM. You can see a list of the CODECS installed in your system by accessing (Windows 95/98/ME/2000) the Control Panel Multimedia -or- Sounds and Multimedia Devices, or (Windows XP) Control Panel Sounds and Audio Devices Hardware. If you do not have an MP3 codec installed there, PowerTracks won't be able to import/convert an .MP3 file, and you will receive a "driver cannot do the requested conversion" error. If you see a codec there and you still get an error, check to see if it is a decode-only codec. On Windows XP - Control Panel Sounds and Audio Devices Hardware Audio Codecs (Properties) Properties. On Windows Vista, try going to Help About Technical Support Information in Windows Media Player. To solve the problem: Due to licensing restrictions and patents on MP3 technology, we can't include MP3 codecs with our software. There are a couple possible solutions - (1) The latest version of Windows Media Player includes an ACM-compatible MP3 codec, l3codecp.acm, which you should find in your Windows\System32 directory, and it can encode MP3's at high bitrates. This codec may or may not be enabled on your computer though. Or, (2) Search online for an MP3 codec that you can download and install. Or, (3) Save your file as a stereo wave file and do the conversion from wave to MP3 in a third party program.

If your goal is just to have PowerTracks receive a dump by initiating the dump from your synth (such as by pressing a certain button on the synth, or executing a certain comand from the synth's control panel), then you would just press the [Receive] button in the Sysex window. Then it's just a matter of entering the command on the synth's control panel to get it to transmit the SysEx, and PowerTracks will download the sysex as it is received from the synth.
